Hindu culture lo annitinee worship chestaaru, including snakes, not just cows. 

Cows were more like family back then & were treated with respect, not quite but similar to how dogs are to westerners.

that culture continued even though most Indians do not raise them now. Id think its more of a culture than religion.

what you said is right, 

but my point is if a person follows gita, he should make sure the cow is not abandoned, but they dont give a damn seeing a cow on streets, typical desi sh1t, they preach when it comes to devotion and or traditions, but when it comes to action, they dont care is what i am saying, the guy who posted this thread is nothing but all true...
