Real estate market in Atlanta

Brookmeade is in exit 13, when this community started prices were 650k, now similar house they are selling for 1.2 M. As of now no lots are available in this community. They may open few lots in coming months.

Its in between exit 12 & 13. If you are coming from south i.e airport you take 12B, if coming from north you take exit 13.

Starting 650K antaru bro but with lot premium + structural + design upgrades it comes to 800k "minimum". This was 1-1.5 years back.

My friend recently signed the contract at Brookmeade. Yeah for slab it is costing around 1.3M for Base price (~900k)+ lot premium bidding (~150k)+ Structural upgrades (~100k)+ design upgrades (~100k). The above upgrades are for a decent home and no way on par to the model home they show. Model home upgrades (structural+design) alone would cost you ~400-500k

For Basement, it is costing around 1.5M.

On top of these add fencing + landscaping in your yard + furniture. I leave it your imagination for how expensive it has become

I am moving from bay area only

same house in bay area will be 5+ million

4300+ sft luxury new house in 0.5 arce lot with amenities (tennis courts + swimmong pool + club house + children play area) and good school districts (8 & 9 rating) wont even be available in bay area. 

I see that the home prices are 4-5 times cheaper in atlanta compared to bay area

Dunwoody, Roswell, Alpharetta, Johnscreek they are not going to come down.

job market in atlanta area is decent but you cannot compare any place to bay area for job market
