I booked the whole package from Costco.. Flights and hotel, airport pickup.. It was seamless and good.. 

Local ga I rented a car and went to multiple places.. It's pretty safe..

We went to Moon Palace. it was pretty good. nice pools, food and alcohol was good too. beach lo matram chala seaweed unde, but that's the time of the year we went, so cannot complain.

if you have been to maldives, don't expect cancun resorts to be like that.
nenu maldives ki vellinappudu that resort was amazing. thakkuva crowd kuda unde. so beach lo and resort pools lo we could hardly see any other people.

but cancun lo mandhalu mandhalu ga janalu unde. not that it is inconvenient, but just a difference between both places we observed. 

food wise also Maldives resorts were far better, but whole package was 3x more expensive than cancun
