There is zero practically no carribean influence In Florida except Cubans 

A few reasons I can think of is 

1. Weather 

2. Similar time zone with rest of west indies , so the time slot will be same for broadcasting

3. Florida is well connected tourist spot with decent indian population 

4. Easier logistics to and from rest of carribean islands
