TWO Indias is the point here. Iddaru unnaru ane cheptundi vaadu kuda. Two contrasting ideologies exist in India. He is not talking about hypocrisy. We have people who sympathize with Nirbhaya but there are also people who think it was the girl’s mistake to go out at night. These are TWO different people.

So do you really think 100% of 75 Cr male population understand what marital rape is? He did not bring religion into this. Why do you make it hindu vs muslim debate?

Sure, he has some valid points there if he spoke them with care instead of theatrics and grandstanding. 

You want to see the other side. Fine. But I am offended particularly with that rape sentence and his grandma b00b jokes. Respect unnodaite, ittanti edava matalu matladadu.

Also, crime is a part of any given country. Shouldn't segregate each country into two parts and make one side accountable for the other side which is probably a thousandth of a percentile of its people.

I haven’t seen the grandma joke. But he is spot on in this poem. 
 
Why getting offended by the rape quote? Are you brave enough to send your sister/wife in public transport alone at night? A girl gets gang raped in the national capital,, not in a village but Capital and we see sympathizers of the rapists in news. Show me one democratic country where rapists get the sympathy and blame the girl for getting out at night? 

I am sure other countries don’t boast that they treat women like mother/goddess. But we do and sure enough we have uncountable rapes that do not get reported. That is the India he wants to get rid of. 

Crime is always in minuscule percents but that doesn’t mean we should not stop it or take measures to prevent it.

whatever % there are gang rapists are very very insignificant. vir as$ painted as if india is somalia a land of gang rapists

i just gave religion as an example to show the hypocrisy. becoz this hits at right spot and what I said is pure fact. if you use a stupid logic to arrive at a conclusion I will use same logic for another conclusion. you have no issue with first but have prob with my conclusion . hypocrisy hypocrisy

It’s not just the rapists. It’s also the people who support rapists and treat rape victim like an untouchable. Clearly, you do not see the problem here. We are not a nation that has the guts to remove patriarchy from roots. We still treat girl child as a liability (A significant percent). 3 month old child to 60 year old women are not spared by rapists. And don’t even get me started about child abuse. We just close our eyes to uncomfortable facts and act like nothing happened.
