Popular Post Ryzen_renoir
Despite opposition from his own cabinet and party losses in several state elections, he never backed away from his agenda of reforming India's economy. Despite having unopposed majority and majority of states under his rule , he couldn't pass any serious reforms except scrapping 370 .

Jagan is perhaps one of the weakest , his fear of losing elections made him ditch everything for welfare schemes Atleast sendral tried to build vast amount of real estate wealth for his community even if it means opposition from other communities / regions

Popular Post Sword_KanthaRao
PVNR presided over the most toughest political times in independent India. Much worst than the 1971 war or emergency period. He had friends in opposition and enemies in his own party. Everyday there was a threat to his government and every incident was a question of survival, yet he completed the term. Modi is no where closer to PVNR and no one will ever be on par with PVNR. Those were the most challenging times in Indian Politics. 1

UP elections will set the stage for the longest election campaign ever in India. Something no one has seen till date. We have seen 3-6 months campaigning but we will see year long campaign for 2024. The most expensive ever. Such things are concerning now. Every other party will learn these tricks and it really concerns me to even think how elections will be managed a decade later. He should have put some efforts on making good policies and governing those policies than just trying to win elections. Just shows how bad of a leader who uses sentiments than policies. It is common to see in a state election... but as a PM / PM candidate should atleast go for elections with facts and development stats than relying on sentiments and Propaganda machines

Modi is running a single party government and pressure in such cases will only increase multi fold. When we think of future, it's not 10 or 20 years but 1 or 2 years. This is the duration of long-term vision today.

karthik25
I don't doubt the greatness of PVNR. But it is also true that India had no options left other than opening up the economy. The failed socialist model brought down India to what pakistan is today economically, and IMF gave us no options. Yes, PVNR was a great man. Some on social media are saying- NaMo is not like Vajpayee who put country ahead of politics. Fine. I agree with both. But what happened after PVNR? We were in a chaos of coalition governments. No reforms. Yes, Vajpayee was a better statesman. That didn't win him the next election. And we saw what the UPA government brought India down to, especially UPA2. Modi didn't do anything major other than scrapping 370? What about GST? If you are tracking it it's getting better day by day. What about the financial inclusion of the poor class? There is 1.5 Lakh crore rupees in PMJDY accounts as on today. Look at the way startups are coming up in India. Look at the unicorns, investments. An ecosystem of electronic and defence mfcing is coming up and we started seeing the results. Needless to mention the logistics. I can go on. @Ryzen_renoir this post is only for you brother, coz I believe you are open minded and not biased.

Next time bjp won’t get majority. Just to add to yours, more IITs, medical colleges, infrastructure, mobile manufacturing units, forex reserves increased, more FDI's, inflation controlled better than previous govt's, for the first time airports came up in north east and conn cted north east to the rest of the India, modernized railways stations, more express ways, 5th biggest economy, and can go on. In 2014 India did not even had money to buy single jet fighter and now buying left and right. One rank one pension for army. Bullet proof jackets to the army Guts to inside Pakistan and strike.
