There is a false notion among public that government can control floods but the reality is water bodies like lakes , wetlands , flood plains , riverbeds  are supposed to flood .  

Any action that is supposed to solve flooding will only cause problems further down the road 

Why blame politicians when these people live in a flood prone natural bodies .

These people deserve exactly what they get . They must either move out or suffer flooding .
