'‘T’ BCs JAC mounts a tirade against KCR'

Hyderabad, Oct 4: The Telangana BC Associations Joint Action Committee Convener Mr Oruganti Venkatesham Goud has said that the JAC has decided to continue agitation till formation of Separate Telangana State, which will be achieved by the backward classes only.

Speaking to media persons here today,  Mr Venkatesham said that the Backward Classes, SC and ST people were sacrificing their lives  for the cause of Telangana and selflessly participating in the agitation,  but the Telangana Rashtra Samithi President Mr Chandrasekhar Rao and Telangana Political JAC chairman, Prof Kodanda Ramreddy were posing themselves as Telangana agitation leaders.

He said that they would visit all the ten Telangana districts to create awareness on the separate Telangana agitation and would organize a mass meeting of Telangana BC, SC and STs, at Hyderabad next month.  He alleged that Mr Chandrasekhar Rao has collided with the Andhra leaders to dilute the Telangana agitation. Owing to deaths of Srikantha Chary, Yadaiah and Kistaiah, he said the Telangana agitation had reached peak level rather than TRS president Mr Chandrasekhar Rao’s fast-un-to-death programme. The Central Government had given December 9 statement on Telangana, after recognizing Telangana peoples’ sentiment and desires, but not due to TRS president’s fast-un-to death proramme.

The Dalitha welfare society president Mr Sathish Mahajan asked the TRS president as with what authority he was assuring that a Dalit leader would be Telangana Chief Minister and a Minority leader would be Deputy Chief Minister when the Telangana was achieved.

Mr Mahajan condemned  the statement of KCR that those who are borne in Telangana region would be treated as Local people. The Backward Classes, SC and ST people were scarifying their lives for the cause of Telangana,  but the upper caste leaders were taking credit for the agitation. He alleged the TRS Party has become Mr Chandrasekhara Rao’s family and his caste party. He alleged that no leader was continuing in his party with self- respect now. He welcomed the launch of Telangana Praja Front to work for the cause of separate Telangana State.

The CPI (ML) state secretary Mr Bora Subhash and the Dalitha Bahujana Front president Mr M. Mallesham were also present.
