Housing east facing not available, what is the second best?

Sunlight ki north, NE, SE is also good if you cannot get E. Remember sun rises at 90 degrees east for only around 4 days in a year.

my preferences are Sunlight and good warmth for Home on both sides which ever is exposed.

• Science prakaramga - US lo aite Your Solar panel has to face south west for optimal usage.
• alage kkada chali ki a moisture formation etc povali ante ur house is exposed to sunlight on maximum sides.
• ventilation will remove the dullness from ur moods and keep u mentally healthy..

so considering above 3 points, I prefer North or East madhya any direction in those 90 degree span.

If you are in dallas or any hot places , never ever take east. You cant enjoy back yard evening heat ki. 

Always prefer north.
