Pork -- start with sausage, bacon and then pork ribs (i personally like mission bbq baby back or spare ribs)

Beef -- smoked brisket, korean beef bulgogi, philly cheesesteak, 

dont ever start with hamburger/cheeseburger. jeevitham lo beef meedha virakthi pudutundhi..

handle steaks medium rare only if you can.. medium rare andhariki nachadhu...

Beef lo flavor peddhagga undadhu. I recommend bison if you get - the buffalo meat in india has much more flavor.

if you really want then go for expensive steaks - akkada kooda hit or miss.

Pork has much better flavor though still not as good as goat or chicken.

If you want to start with something really cheap then try jamaican beef patties - you will get in frozen section of most beef stores at a $1. not bad.
