development of Hyd from 98 to 04 - It happened throughout the world and in every city of India. Blore, Chennai, Pune all grew at a rate faster than Hyd in every possible measurement of growth.

Vijaywada is a small area / dense city with little to no formal sector jobs 

Building a metro in such place is just waste of money  , even center just ruled it unviable 

Vizag can have a metro line but ycp has absolutely no agenda to build anything , only monthly payments to labour 

Unless central govt steps in and provides loans like agra , kanpur metro AP will not have any metro for next 10 years

I am talking about wealth. Chennaites are poorer and they dont spend much on expensive things.

Until then it's impossible to do any big infra projects without scrapping welfare schemes and reducing absurd salaries / pensions
