atleast austin will hold the real estate value in my opinion. Lot of faang employees are unable to buy home in bay area with current prices. Austin is good alternative for them since austin has faang presence. same thing with seatle

Too many people moving to Texas with the intention of buying a house... and there are not enough homes.. 

so many people got green cards in the last 2 years... many people made lot of money on stocks and crypto... so they are willing to pay for their dream house..  

but all the areas may not sustain this kind of frenzy... like South Dallas and South Austin, these kind of prices won't work..
