CT: Why a farmer need to be respected? just enlighten here

Farming is a gimmick to control large uneducated population of India. Most useless profession that keeps India poor. It doesn’t require so many people in it, but is being encouraged because govts cannot give alternative careers to these people.

I've debated this farming topic with my friends many times, exactly along your lines, and I've always gotten bashed since no one agrees when we say why farmers need respect.... I have more respect for sewage workers than raithu.... life lo okasari ela aina farming cheyali ani chala mandi anukuntaru, but no one thinks to be a sewage worker.... .... vallaki evadu respect iyyadu... farmer anagane raithe raaju, respect vastadhi....
