150 Crores and Still Counting - Samajwadi Perfume

IT Raid at Samajwadi party leader who launched Samajwadi perfume. About 150 crore cash found till now.

Tax evasion worth crores of rupees have been detected during Income Tax raids on two businessmen in Kanpur, neighboring Kannauj, Mumbai and Gujarat.  The Income Tax department raided the house, factory, office, cold store and petrol pump of perfume trader Piyush Jain, who is close to Akhilesh Yadav. In November, Jain also launched Samajwadi Party perfume, branded as ‘Samajwadi Attar’.

Meanwhile, an I-T official confirmed that it is a raid with regard to tax evasion. "Documents related to income and tax are being scrutinised. The process of counting currency notes is still going on with the help of SBI officials. It may get concluded by Friday. It is proposed to seize it for further in-depth investigations."

They can easily exchange it for hawala dollars in one day
