నెల్లూరు: ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ రాష్ట్రంలో ప్రస్తుతం ఉన్న సినిమా టికెట్‌ ధరలతో థియేటర్లు నడపలేమని వాటి యజమానులు ప్రకటిస్తున్నారు. స్వచ్ఛందంగా థియేటర్లకు తాళాలు వేస్తున్నారు. తాత్కాలికంగా మూసివేస్తున్నట్లు సినిమా హాళ్ల బయట బోర్డులు పెడుతున్నారు. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో తాజాగా నెల్లూరు నగరం.. సూళ్లూరు పేట జాతీయ రహదారిపై ఉన్న వి-ఎపిక్‌ థియేటర్‌ని తాత్కాలికంగా మూసివేస్తున్నట్లు యాజమాన్యం ప్రకటించింది.

ఆసియాలోనే అతిపెద్ద స్క్రీన్‌ కలిగిన ఈ థియేటర్‌లో సినిమాని ఎంజాయ్‌ చేసేందుకు సినీ ప్రియులు ఎక్కువగా ఆసక్తి కనబరుస్తుంటారు. కాగా, జీవో నెం:35కి అనుగుణంగా థియేటర్లు నడపడం సాధ్యం కాదని.. అందువల్ల థియేటర్‌ని కొన్నిరోజులపాటు మూసివేస్తున్నామని శనివారం ఉదయం యాజమాన్యం తెలిపింది. దీంతో థియేటర్‌కు వచ్చిన సినీ ప్రేక్షకులు నిరాశతో వెనుదిరిగారు.

I heard it's co owned prabhas , it is almost always empty except launch days where they make majority of the money 

Weird Location to build a theatre though , it's right in middle of Chennai , Nellore

52 theatres face closure in Chittoor

In continuation of the ongoing state-wide drive against movie theatres because of ‘non-compliance’ of rules and regulations, around 52 theatres at different locations were slapped closure notices in Chittoor district on Thursday.

issue is not with rates but with the location of the theater

this theater shutdown is done by owner themselves, but not by govt..

Per GO 35 govt asked to reduce the ticket price to 70 INR, inka emi manage chestaru asia lo biggest theater ni

70 rs ki tciket ammithey, very soon bankruptcy file cheyali owners, anduke better to shutdown... ani fix aayaru... atleast current bill and employees salary ina save cheyachu...
