Murder attempt on CM, Rosaiah?

Early this morning, the Vijayawada police were busy making all arrangements and checking security for the Andhra Pradesh chief minister, Rosaiah's visit to the city.

They stopped one vehicle during the routine checkup and were received with gunfire! The police too retaliated and shot back and killed the person who started the gunfire.

Then it was revealed that the person who opened the gunfire is a criminal by name Adapa Venkanna who originally hails from the West Godavari district. He was recently released from the Cherlapally jail and has around 70 criminal cases pending against him.

The questions that have boggled the police are on why this criminal came to the area where Rosaiah was supposed to address a meeting. Why did he open the gunfire?

All this led to rumors that he came there to harm Rosaiah.
