There are few plans which cover even pre-existing conditions. I know a few friends who bought comprehensive insurance plans for parents who were above 70.

some plans cover acute onset of pre existing conditions , people should buy them if parents had any pre existing conditions in the past

I think US lo liability em undadu kids pina. not sure if anyone know. these bills won't fall under their name. they can simply ignore this bills.

Buy the cheap and best insurance with PPO network like UHC or any other major insurance provider. Never give your personal details at hospital. Insurance may decline your claim but it will be easy to get treatment at the hospital emergency room as they can’t validate the coverage immediately
