Leading APM tool org lo position.

I am working as a SME and lead.

Sales engineer position. 

does any growth can find in that position?

they told it is remote, but might traveling required post covid.

shall i take it?

throw some light here experts.

hmm product marketing work untademo mostly no other technical scope for growths

Usually sales engineer try to sell company's tech products/software services participating in various events.

Almost like a car salesman, need convincing skills. After sometime it may become routine thing . 

Once you leave tech stuff and go towards any leadership/marketing side, its hard to come back to tech side again.

I work in this space...

In my view, APM market place is at crossroads.... None of the solutions do what developer wants. Especially for cloud or microservices

I have no idea about APM.. but for me.. salary/package takes precedence over career growth..

It's very different from engineering...need lot of people and communication skills. That's why you see mostly Americans take this role.

If you are SME and lead, doesn't your current role pay you more than this? 

 

sales engineer (solution architect ) pays less than engineering roles
