IMO nothing wrong with consulting, if you want to learn and gain experience  in certain new area. Keeping money and benefits aside, In FT you never know what kind of work you will end up doing after joining.

Always there is an option to join FT after you gained enough experience in interested tech/area, if you don't like consulting.

no money in consulting ..try for fte only.. lot of comps offering very gud pay
