Covid test for US travel

Hi friends,

My parents are coming to Chicago from Hyderabad and I have couple of questions regarding covid test .Can you please help?

1. Which covid Test has to be taken in Hyderabad and where?
2.Should the test to be taken within 24 hour of departure flight?
3.Does Chicago airport report accept covid test report from Hyderabad?

1. rt pct, any clinic is fine that can give you the negative report before travel date, mention it to them that the test is for international travel

2. 72 hours i believe - not sure of they changed it to 24 hrs

3. No checking will be in Chicago airport, these reports will be validated by airlines at departure, in your case hyd
