Only 25-30% of people live in urban areas in india now, it is expected that this figure will increase to 70-80% in 40 years. Even if population slightly decreases that's multiple times more demand for homes for newer migrants. What you should be worried about investing in long term real estate is terrible legal system and nonsensical infra policies 1 Quote

Once population starts to decrease, govt can spend money on infrastructure and we will need more land to build infrastructure (roads, bridges, schools, parking lots, hospitals,...) Quote
