There is no written rule/law that you shouldn’t change field after getting GC … it depends on the officer who review n-400 application and how he interprets it … only derivative GC can do what ever they want no questions asked…

Got you….first link - anduke GC ochaka 6 months varaku same employer tho work chesthaaru mostly 

second link - it talks about GC EAD, even in GC EAD you can change job after certain time( not sure exactly). One of my friend after 6months or 1 year changed job from consulting to FT

Couple of questions

 

 1) opening a company? 

what are other advantages other than you can do more than one jobs? 
 Can we reduce house hold income and give it to company. Tax benefits?

health insurance benefits from your own company vs employer provided?

 

2) read that we can sponsor GC for parents? 
 

wait for citizenship vs start with GC then expedite with citizenship?

 

3) unemployment benefits?

 This will go against the 1st question but can cover few  options for worst case scenario

 

4) travel to other countries?

like mexico gives 7days visa on arrival if you have valid h1b, does it change with GC?

any other countries similar to Mexico for short visits?

No on GC. Only for Unmarried Kids and Spouse.
