My friend’s car engine burned today and police didn’t file a complaint at all

Strange. Lot of smoke and fire, fire engine came and even he didn’t have insurance at that moment. Still police didn’t file a complaint and left the scene after fire is off. Strange vaa..

What they will write ? If he don't have insurance then you are out of luck. If it's recent model, try contacting the manufacturer and dealer see if there is a recall or they can do diagnostics

It’s not about car, I am talking shouldn’t  a police report an incident which caused a lot of fire etc
