If you are on desktop, click drop-down on your name top right and go to ignored users. Add userid and select what you want to ignore. Unfortunately it still lists the threads and when you open them, it hides their content. 

 

If you are on mobile, click hamburger icon on top right and select account and ignored users. Same process from there.
