We put around 40-50% in Joint account from both ends. All the bills, travelling and savings will come out from that account.

All the rest is personal and no one needs to explain to anyone.

I installed the bank apps on her phone with Face ID enabled… I doubt she remembers the passwords… she can check if she wants to but i really doubt if she ever did.. we never talk about what she or I spends on.. there are no big ticket expenses for us except for mortgage etc… 

she is just in her small world and doesn’t care about the finances… I guess some people are like that..
