Permits for any changes to house?

If a window is being replaced with sliding or French doors do I need to get any  permit? There is electric socket under the window as well

does the home owner request for permit or contractor request?  I am Interested in pella door, and will go with them for installation, do they help me get those permits?

any thoughts? Any one has been through such situation?

You need permission from HOA. And also call the township and ask about it

Ok with HOA it’s pretty much giving them a headsup right. Mine not very active

No. It’s not that easy as you think. It is an architectural change. HOA will have documents you need to submit like what change la you are making and what color and material. It has to be approved by HOA. regarding township, it is municipality. Check the your sale agreement. It should be there. Your county and municipality
