If we are using GC EAD what is the option to choose resident or non resident alien in W4 form?

Irrespective of your GC for tax purpose you are resident alien if you pass substantial presence test

W4 or i9?

I think this is on i9.

My understanding gc ki permanent resident.  H1 is alien authorized to work.

Yes h1b is also resident alien for tax purpose if you  meet substantial presence test

I9 or W4… if I9 then h1b is not resident alien
