Anta Assamey Posted February 3, 2022 Report Posted February 3, 2022 The AP government puts its full efforts to restrict the employees from participating in the ‘Chalo Vijayawada’ event, a protest called by the employees unions against the PRC. But the AP government and the police department were unsuccessful because employees agitation has intensified. But in an unexpected manner, the employees received massive support from the common man. People of Vijayawada fully backed the employees and provided assistance to them everywhere it was necessary. During the rally, people arranged drinking water for the protesting employees holding cans, containers and glasses. Vijayawada’s weather was hot today and many employees walked into the rally without carrying water bottles. Seeing them, people immediately arranged drinking water and it was a good sight. This gesture comes in the wake of a negative campaign run against government employees allegedly by the YCP government. Through village volunteers, the AP government tried to induce negativity against the employees but their plans turned upside down. Overall AP government employees showed what they are capable off and now all eyes on February 7th (6th midnight) as the employees have called for an indefinite strike until their demands are met.
