1. Either let students chose what they want to wear across India in all academic schools (shouldn't matter who is running the school)

2. Or let each school/college define their own rules..

All good but this is a government school/college . Covent or Private schools /colleges it is understandable, if the government is permitting turban for sikhs it shouldn’t find a problem hijab. Both are religious practices

Despite the rulebook allowing girls to wear hijab to classes, a private college in Kundapur of Udupi district in Karnataka has barred entry to them over the issue.

Govt campus lo enduku ban chesarante...communal issue jargakudadu ani..

boys started wearing Saffron color shawls to protest against girls...so iddaru emi veyyakandi which depicts the religion ani ban chesaru...

news lo jargindi Private college ban cheisnanduku....

The move to ban the hijab on campus comes a day after a government college in Kundapur closed the gates on students wearing the headscarf. Another private college in Kundapur, Dr BB Hegde First Grade College, has also barred entry to students wearing the hijab following boys on campus taking to wearing saffron shawls to classes.
