Nenu dropbox ki passport submit chesina they asked me to come to interview after 2 weeks, but they said you will be handed your passport over before interview ani so can I go collect my passport now ?

no they will give you before interview at embassy

Can you call the US consulate and confirm  ?

Also feel free to send emails to get more clarity 

Better to discuss with your employer about the process too. 

 

Some people are handed passport along with 221g few days before interviewing 

Some people are getting passport on the day of fingerprints and interviewing on same day
