Remember what the toughest or the most difficult thing you have faced Few years ago or when you were a kid? Does that pain you now as much as it did at that time?? I don’t think so!! Time has an amazing power to make us forget the pain.. the things that are paining you a lot now will soon be trivial things in the future.. No one’s life is as happy or without issues as it appears.. everyone goes through lot of issues, big and small, and they live through it.. they will learn to deal with them.. you can either choose to live in the past or dust up and move on with your life… you can either choose to see an issue in the rear view mirror or keep it in front of you all the time.. choice is yours.. That said, you are not alone in these kinds of feelings. I always feel I am not lucky, nothing comes easy, I have to do 1$ work to get 10 cents result, there are no one who would pave the way for me. But to think of it, I made several mistakes because no one to guide, but that made me self reliant. No one handed me anything on a platter but that means you are the master of your life, not indebted to anyone. Most people especially nri's would experience being taken advantage, learn your lesson and move ahead. No point dwelling over past, instead focus on present and future. As long as you are healthy, you can make it work all over again. Well said. Greatest lesson for me in life is learning on my own without any guidance or elders setting any kind of examples. I cant recollect the number of humiliations and insults i faced from so called relatives and friends who wait desperately to pounce on you to let you down and bring down your confidence to the lowest level. Not sure what kind of miracle guided me but that insults induced more fighting spirit in me to fight back and get ahead with my life plans. Today if i look back i am in lot stronger position to make decisions and i know who is scum and who is genuine. Hard lessons learnt in life but worth it at the end. Quote
