My joining date in the new company is April 1 2022

First offer letters says regarding my relocation benefits

"Relocation benefits expire 12 months from start date."

My understanding is my relocation benefits will expire by April 1 2023

 

In the second offer letter

The benefits will be good for 1 year once initiated.  It is projected that these services will be initiated within 1 year from date of hire.

Are they telling my relocation benefits will be valid until April 2024 if I initiate my relocation process on March 31 2023 (Which is one years from the joining date)

 

Please help me.

Yes, later statement is right... Once starts you have 1 year ...

I dont want to poke them again and again. That is the grid lock during our negotiations

that is what it means... any fine print? that 'projected' word is noncommittal.. what if there is an unforeseen event  around the end of March'23  & you cannot initiate the process? I guess you will not get an extension.. so plan accordingly..
