what is love to you? if you are in your 20s, its probably your hormones hijacked you. and you are calling it love. if the girl really loved you for what you are, valla naanna tho aasthulu raapinchuko ani adiginchi undadu. vaalla nanna ki nammakam ledu ante deni  meeda nammakam ledu? nee meeda na? or valla ammayi meeda na? athani pempakam meeda na? as a father, he should have invested in her education and well being so he gets that "confidence/nammakam" no matter what happens in future, rest assured his daughter can handle things herself ani. clearly that didn't happen and instead he plans to loot potential son-in-law. aasthulu raasi isthe vache nammakam ela vastundi? you need to realize this is NOT love.

marriage is a CONTRACT. and because they are demanding you, seems like they have more negotiating power at this point. thanks to Indian laws, women already have too much "protection" that safegaurds them when things go south in marriage. so, by definition, as per law , when marriage gives more power to women, as a man you need to be sure whether you want this marriage and under what conditions. 

 

being a man, you need to man up and walk-away until you are never in a compromising position during marriage negotiations.
