Thokkalee Posted February 23, 2022 Report Share Posted February 23, 2022 US is exporting natural gas to Europe to make up for the short fall in the gas supply to Europe.. this is causing the local gas prices to increase… if you are seeing high electricity bills from the past 2 months, the high gas (natural gas) prices are the reason.. if Russia decides to stop the gas supply to Europe via Nordstream pipeline, then the prices will go up multi fold.. 40% of natural gas to Europe is supplied by Russia..
