Yes... Jagan asked for it when in opposition... When he came to power current government itself said we don't want CBI....and high court did not agree and went ahead with CBI..... idi enduku not telling ...

Bcoz chemba vesina SIT showed no progress so requested for CBI… once his govt came he formed SIT…  eventually weather its CBI or SIT the result would be same, so he withdrew his petition to offload CBI burden
