Thokkalee Posted March 1, 2022 Report Posted March 1, 2022 Gali had mining license to mine in those areas.. what he did wrong is that he started mining in areas by extending the boundaries where he had no license to mine… he used that money to buy politicians (bjp in karnataka and ysr in AP) and govt officials… there are many industrialists like him… but his decision to come to politics and side with one party (bjp) was a bad move…. until ysr was alive, he pretty much did his thing with immunity… only after ysr died and he bought mla’s in Karnataka, he got into trouble with authorities as they digged into his businesses… Congress was very mad at him for instrumenting in buying mlas in Karnataka and put yedyurappa in the cm chair in 2008… 1 1 Quote
