Issue with Fragomen

calling @csrcsr @Spartan and other immigration experts.

I asked fragomen to start interfile in January after USCIS gave notification about interfiling with new address.

As usual they are slow and started the process after a month. I sent the form and all the details.

Now after another 4 weeks they still didn't file the interfile request and told me that they don't want to do it now.

Instead they want to file amendment to my old 140 and send them to USCIS by requesting them to use it instead of new 140.

I don't understand why they are doing it. Everyone already filed or filing interfile to upgrade the category, why fragomen different?

Is Fragomen doing this for gaining money? As interfile is free and I40 amendment has fee?

Anyone did this 140 amendment instead of interfile?

BTW nothing changed in my position for amendment other than title.

It’s company decision no, fragomen just do what they are asked to do by the company … that’s what I have seen with fragomen

Current only in EB2.

Right now downgraded and siting in EB3. I want to interfile and move to EB2

Ledu bro, fragomen decided on this and sent request to company. Now company is re-thinking as there are expenses with this.

in ur case looks like Fragomen is deciding the future..

did they revoke ur EB2 140..if not why amendment.?

Didn't revoke the old one, still active.

I feel like fragomen is very money minded. Now they are asking to schedule a telephone consultation to discuss with fee $450 per 30 minutes.

EB2 is active, just do interfile asking them to use existing application ani cheppamanu me manager ki.

its unwarrented cost to company and time lapse for employees...

I recently did interfiling with fragomen. I filed my 485 when eb3 was current with new i140 in eb3. Then dates retrogressed and I don’t have eb2 i140. I filed new i140 in eb2 and got approved in 2 weeks in premium. Last week I interfiled with 485j and bonafide job offer.

Bro, did you change the jobs from intial I140? so you don't have EB2 I140 with new job?
