NATO will only act if any one of the member states is attacked or threatened. If I'm not wrong, NATO also maintains no first strike-subject to correction. Ekado chadivina that NATO will not strike first anatu not sure..

Social media is full of Anti-Russian and Anti-War sentiment and that's expected. 

NATO is not involved in any of the operations because none of the member states are under attack and nothing else and Putin is aware of this fact and hence the invasion. Even tactical support is by the EU members but not as a NATO front.
