It seems US uses only 3% from Russian oil and oil companies are rising to cover the pandemic losses. Basically a PR stunt. Bigger blow will happen if Russia bans oil to Mexico because 30% of US oil comes through Mexico

US ban doesn't make any difference but sanctions on Russian oil will  spike the rates to 200$+
