I had heating issues when I coded in air

New m1 MacBooks are great, even MacBook air is decent.

All IDEs are available on Mac - Java is fully supposed, both openjdk and Oracle. 

You can install Oracle XE , but now a days you can get it in a container also. 

If you know Linux, then you feel it's even better... It's Linux like OS - terminal is awesome compared to windows command line.

then you can install whatever you want

all you need to do is install android studio

but do little research is the latest M1 chips are supporting or not

mine is not M1 chip so mine is supporting
