What are the possibilities if we are not willing to pay medical bills coming to us ? I know they will sent out to collections department . What would happen if we keep ignoring them too? Please give your insights on this! Thank you friends

Peddha bokka pedtharu in long term … you won’t be approved even for $100 credit … appu dorkaka, credit cards leka, auto loan leka you will come to streets unless you can manage with your savings/salary.

if it goes to collection you have to pay fine too so best bet is call and ask for a payment plan which hospitals usually agree

you can ignore if you don’t have longer stay plans in US and you are ok with affecting credit score.

I would suggest trying some way to pay at least in small amounts...

But if you think you are OK with your credit score getting damaged for 7 years then you can ignore the payments..

talk to them nicely and there will be some charity orgs associated with each hospital and they can help if needed...
