Help with GPA (General Power of Attorney) for NRI HDFC home loan

Can I get the GPA (General Power of Attorney) for NRI HDFC home loan notarized at banks like Bank of America, Chase or UPS or does this needs to be done at the Indian embassy ? Can someone please help with this ?

Local notary is enough. I got it done for LIC home loan power of attorney stuff. Also for HDFC bank account opening power of attorney stuff.

@Narcos are you sure bro ? I've read we can do it at local notary. This is only for GPA for loan.

Embassy not required You can get it done at TD bank Or UPS

same thing.. got it done at Comerica bank(account lekapoina chesadu).. deniki consulate/embassy lo akarledu.. you can do it in UPS as well.

yes i did for 2 home loans similar way for giving GPA, when you r in NRI status banks ask that

varies from bank to bank.  Adk you representative to talk to the bank manager. They will give you the template and the process to get the gpa done.
