Given that we have good schools in other states too and  when there is remote options from most of companies today and virginia has weather only for 7 months, is it  worth to buy a house in this area?

Anything special in this area that other cities/states don't have?

else rest of Virgnia especially down south is not worth..

Just went to house warming of my friend who bought for 680 for 2020 townhome. So nenu “ikkade” unna.

But my original point is now(after covid) since many companies in this location offering remote(including mine which is fed client) does it still makes sense to stay here for jobs? Also there are very good housing communicates in NC also where I can get same size town home for 200k cheaper.

I doubt about remote positions… most of companies in VA are asking to come back to work atleast two to three days a week… 

yeah NC Is lot better in terms of prices but real estate is crazy there..
