Been to most happening dallaspuram and while there toured some open houses and new constructions.

can someone enlighten me on below points (may be i m not looking at right perspective)

1. Ppl bidding as crazy for upto million $ homes. Area seems to be Flat as f**k and hot as hell. Weekend activity endi ra ante ammalakkala gossips and media room movies . Kula sanghala gatherings and show off biz. 

2. Unpredictable weather and frequent roof repairs every 3-4 yrs with hail storms. High home insurances.

3. Property taxes increase every yr

4. home appraisal is not even close to home closing transaction value. Besides 20% down had to put additional $100k minimum down as lot premium ( iga mana vasthu took it to next level) . Still can’t figure out how ppl justify and pulling the trigger?

Asalu em unnai bro texas lo? How do ppl spend their weekends?

Depends on age and how they entered( I mean direct H1 or Master). 

Naa Anna lu akkade vuntaru direct H1. Yeah weekend just media room la kurchoni movies watching and not much fun. But valla mindset ki ade best world. Depends baa andaru every weekend bayataki vellaru happening place la vunna kuda.

Mere pass Maa hai annatlu, Texas has weather, you dont need to roam around for few months in summer and hide in your home for 6 months, Texas gives the closest lifestyle in comparison with india

most of the folks are spending just becasue of peer pressure, most of the desis flock to desi ghettos in frisco leaving many areas where affordability is better

Six flags undi… water parks unnayi.. $60 ki annual pass vasthundi.. 

so many lakes and state parks around.. we go for day visits or camping chestham.. one hr drive lo 2 casinos unnayi… lots of parks and trails too..

Amazing food, weather, desi festivals, temples, friends from school, inter, engineering and former colleagues, relatives ilaa  chala mandi unnaru… kids have lot of desi friends too.. don’t even have to call to go to any friends house… 

ye yedava jeevithaniki aina inta kanna emi kavalanna??

Lol it’s the same with Texas weather.. it use to be pretty good now winter is like north

Depends on the person bro… if someone  wants to be with people from their own caste, it is upto them…

 I don’t belong to a major caste so naku problem ledu.. I never cared also.. two of my close friends are reddy’s and they don’t get involved in those things.. one of them is a kamma.. he doesn’t get involved in that too… we don’t talk about politics much… so no conflicts.. I don’t even know the castes of other friends… everyone get along so well and help each other..
