invest in MFs here in USA. India MF's high expense ratio and rupee declines because of inflation

Any tax payer who stays in India for 6 months can apply for Aadhar.  Not a Jugaad.  Don't know about kids though .

Any tax payer who stays in India for 6 months can apply for Aadhar > only if you have Indian passport right, i mean legally. NRI by aadhar definition is applicable to indian passport holders. If US passport - officially not eligible or allowed.

as others said, desi jugaad all use and get aadhar anyways.

As per this OCI card holders also can apply if they are in India for more than 182 days.
