Thing is Putin is asking to pay for the oil in Russian currency and which india agreed and if many countries agree for it, dollar trade for oil will get reduced which will impact dollar directly in international trade. It’s a big game which is why USA is feeling gaja gaja

India is considering establishing a payment mechanism in local currencies to allow it to continue trade with Russia, which has been hit with Western sanctions in response to its invasion of Ukraine.
