each of them has their own traits....rajini became a super star not alone with his movies but with his simplicity and honesty..and comparing chiranjeevi with kamal hasan is a weird comparison..kamal is the one who has taken indian cinema beyond borders and thats why he is called universal star...he is a noted actor allover india...i have a simple question...why not chiranjeevi whith his dancing skills..acting skilss and blah blah..could not make it beyond tollywood? even rajini could make it in the bollywood which is highly creative on par with tollywood and kollywood...why not chiranjeevi..(i think he tried his luck though)...and regarding the comments that rajinis movies are like xx movies...we all very well know how chiranjeevi movies used to be in the 90's...with full of double meaning dialogues...meaning less fights etc...

Mr. Bhagat Singh

first of all  your perception of India as South India and North India is completely wrong

We dont have East India, North India, South India  We only have India  You can refer to it as the southern part of india and not south india

Coming to the discussion

Kamal is a great actor who cannot be compared to chiranjeevi or Rajni kanth

The hype and hoopla around rajni films is more or less contributed by telugu people

Though i am not a Telugu by birth, i have spent all my life in AP just like any other Andhraite

With that experience i can say one thing    Telugu valllaki unna bad habit  okaru paiki vasthunte vallani encourage cheyyadam aapesi  kindaki lagadaniki choostharu

that is clearly seen in Cinema  Telugu vallu Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna ani kottukuntaru gani    when it comes to Rajnikanth  andaru unite aipotharu  STRANGE!!

Rajni kanth is just a normal actor liked by most people for his off-screen simplicity rather than his acting skills

It's time people understandd the difference between a star/ an actor on -screen and off- screen

You sound close to my intial post of this discussion...i don't mean to bring the regional differences my intention was to compare actors who belongs to same category...southern part of India/south India they sound alike please don't dwelve into depths...i don't think Andhrites unite when it comes to Rajnikanth..basically you don't see that divided talk between 2 groups since he is from a different origin...Finally what i feel is it's just the oppurtunities and combination of talent that makes a film/artist success...that is what i believe is lacking for Chiru or TFI...Kamasutra is an art movie but barriers are defined for the good cause of society/broader mass illiterate audience and upcoming generations...anyways that just my opinion i don't want to convince the people and i respect others opinion.....unfortunately my IP address has been blocked..not sure whether i would be able to respond back again, Thanks.

I mean....there is a lot of difference between the words 'south india' and 'southern part of india'

i was just pointing that

and there is no need to hate someone because you like another actor    but unfortunately that is the case with chiranjeevi/bala krsihna fans
