Reason for that 

 

The reason for the same is the nation-wise strike from the sole broadcasters BBC back then. Media didn’t cover the the two matches played on that day. Even Australia and West Indies faced each other at Lord’s but even that match was not recorded on camera.

What a shame. One of cricket's greatest innings was never recorded and we have no way to watch it.

Disagree, I felt it paled in comparison to SSR’s Dhoni, nice thought but poor execution and poor actor selection except for some. No high moments in the movie, one of the weakest performances from ranveer Singh, anduke cinema ended up as a disaster 

Kapil’s performance is legendary though
