Most of us are multi lingual....IMO, enforcing backfires. English, although it's a foreign language to India, it's spoken and acceptable by most people due to the opportunities it's bringing. If Hindi or Sanskrit brings that, people would learn... They better focus on that part. If he wants to make people aware, he can address the nation on why he thinks it helps Quote

It would be his intention. If we don't want to learn any language that is different. But if we are ready for english for money, but not for hindi for country means, pure money minded. Quote

I do speak Hindi when I meet friends who speak Hindi or some Desi shops. Not a big deal for me. Thinking about the rationale for picking Hindi.. Is it because several states already speaks Hindi ? IMO, most people understand Sanskrit in south and north. That would be better accepted over Hindi if the intent is to have one common language other than mother tongue Quote
Gcp Posted April 9, 2022 Report Posted April 9, 2022 If they really want that to happen, if they crack Tamil Nadu, that's sufficient. All other states are not hard liners. Quote

Hmmm.. IMO, it's not that simple to discard. There was a published research on "thinking language" and spending pattern. Another research on some background images, colors though not highlighted, can cause people to vote for certain political party in USA. Indian languages "may" bring some unity.. I am unsure though how it plays out because we are so diverse Edited April 9, 2022 by Gcp Correction Quote
