In 2015 when his party was part of NDA and he headed niti ayog sub-committee of chief ministers, he is the one who pushed garbage cess when other CMs opposed it and accordingly central govt issued circular to pool funds for swacch bharat through garbage cess. Now he and his pacha mafia crying on same thing

Exactly, state wise unanimously rejected CBN...across all social categories and regions for the decisions. Out right rejection.

Jaggadi kuda rejection ayitadi and andulo doubt ae ledu...but which categories and which social groups are going to shun the govt anedi question ikada...as of now, I can say 40% of the vote bank still backs jagan in at least 2 major regions.

Swachh Bharat cess was imposed at 0.5% by GoI but it was later cancelled. By 2018 they stopped collecting cess after introducing GST.

Elsewhere in municipalities, user charge property taxes ani..edo oka rakanga collect chestaru for garbage disposal. to fund garbage collection system. All over India, every corporation and municipality has introduced this and one of the last states to implement this was AP. one of the first states to introduce is Indore and you know where it stands in terms of cleanliness.

In the case of Hyd, they levy 100 rupees per month as garbage collection charges and it's included in property taxes.
